Cold rolled steel rod is used in construction building for concrete reinforcement, construction of various shapes of reinforcing (e.g. stirrups), and in Europolis Plus it is used to produce reinforcement meshes.
Europolis Plus within its production program offers:
- Rod with a smooth surface of EŠG mark ø 4 – ø 12 (mm);
- Rod with a ribbed surface of EŠR mark ø 4 – ø 12 (mm).
Cold rolled steel rod is made of cold rolled steel wire which is straightened and cut at a certain length. This process of straightening and cutting is done on the Vitari (Italy) machines.
